How it works
Every weekday our desk reads the Town of Gilbert agendas (Council, Planning Commission, Design Review), the Arizona Department of Liquor licence filings for Gilbert addresses, Maricopa County food-establishment plan reviews and Gilbert building permits. Anything that means a new place to eat, shop, play or live gets named, checked against the business's own channels, and published. The weekend list comes from the town, Discover Gilbert, Eventbrite and organizers who submit directly.
What we are not
Not a crime blotter, not politics, not a real estate brokerage in disguise. Every sponsored placement is marked "Sponsored". The directory lists every business we can verify, free; a business can claim its listing for a small monthly fee to add photos and offers, which never changes where it ranks in our guides.
Corrections
Public records are sometimes wrong or withdrawn. If we got something wrong, write to [email protected] and we fix it in the next issue and on the page.
